About the Lecturer:
Sun Ning, professor-level senior engineer, doctoral supervisor, expert in drilling engineering. He is currently an expert at CPNC Consulting Centre. He was a grade ’73 student at Southwest Petroleum Institute and majored in drilling in his undergraduate studies, and then a grade ’79 student at CPNC Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (RIPED) in Beijing. He has served as director of the Drilling Institute and then the vice general engineer at RIPED, vice director at CPNC Bureau of Technology, director at CPNC Institute of Drilling Engineering, senior expert at CPNC, deputy secretary general at the Sun Yueqi Foundation, and director of Project 21 of China’s National Science and Technology Major Project.
