Dr. Wang is an expert in acoustics and has been dedicated to the research and development of acoustic logging technologies. He has done a great amount of reasearch in the R&D of acoustic logging devices including Sonic Scanner and Sonic Scope, therefore published more than 30 papers on internationally acknowledged journals, including journals of the Royal Society. He has received the award of distinguished technology contribution at Schlumberger for five times and has managed more than a hundred projects during his tenure as the global manager of physics technology at SLB.
